About Webmaster

Andrew Cunningham has been taking fireground photos in Wheeling, WV since 1999. In 2004, the Wheeling Fire Department appointed Andrew as the Official Fire Photographer for the department. Andrew setup WheelingFire.com in 2005 and has been the webmaster and major contributor since then. Andrew is an Honorary Member of the IAFF Local 12 Wheeling Firefighters and is presently living in Pittsburgh, PA. Andrew moved to Pittsburgh in 2008 to work on a Master’s Degree in Multimedia/Web Development at Duquesne University.

At present time Andrew is the webmaster and administrator of PittsburghFire.net and he takes photos at fire scenes trying to capture the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire in action. It is the goal of this new site to promote the work of the Pittsburgh Firefighters and establish a presence for them on the Internet. His other work includes shooting fire scenes and riding along with the Wheeling Fire Department (Wheeling, WV IAFF Local 12) and maintaining his third website, DCFDVideos.com.  Andrew works closely with Gums ‘n Roses Web Design and also the Box Alarm Network Web Design.

Future projects include an Online Wheeling Fire Department History Museum.
